A native of Naples, Italy, Armando Pizzuti earned degrees in Hospitality Management and Hotel & Restaurant Management at Kansas University in the United States. While studying at Kansas University he was enrolled in a food & beverage internship at Merit Hotels in Kansas City. Upon completion of his studies, Pizzuti was hired as Director of Restaurants at the Rosewood Hotel in Dallas, Texas. He then became Director of Food & Beverage at the luxurious Palace Hotel in Milan, owned by Ciga Hotels, where he oversaw the operation of a One Star Michelin restaurant. Mr. Pizzuti later returned to the United States to become a Food & Beverage Director for Disney, where he successfully directed the food & beverage operation for the opening of two new hotels, the Grand Floridian Beach Resort and Spa and the Walt Disney World Swan. Having accomplished this important milestone in his career, Pizzuti was lured away from Disney by Sandals Resorts International and became Director of Food & Beverage at the renowned Sandals Antigua Resort, where he advanced the state of the art in food & beverage. Recognizing his flair for taking food & beverage operations to the next level, he was promoted to Director of Food & beverage at Sandals Resorts’ flagship Sandals Montego Bay Resort. Mr. Pizzuti is now Corporate Director of Food & Beverage for Sandals Resorts International, where 142 restaurants fall under his watchful and discriminating eye
