Get ready for the third annual World Gourmet Summit . . . Las Vegas style.
A two-day Grand Gourmet Safari at The World Market Center in Las Vegas offers Food & Wine pairing classes, culinary competitions, live entertainment, tasting of over 300 wines, and of course Gourmet food. Visit specialty bars featuring an assortment of beverages including Vodka, Tequila, Bourbon, Whisky, Rum, Beer, Cognac and Cigars or the food products and equipment exhibition booths. Attend lifestyle seminars or a charity auction offering stays at luxury hotels on five continents, dinners at top restaurants, autographed cook books from participating Chefs and fine wines.

This event will start with a Champagne Reception and a selection of very special Hors d’oeuvres.
After the Cocktail, you will be served a four-course Dinner, prepared by visiting Master Chef Scott Webster from Sydney, Australia; Kosta Ganotis from Melbourne and the brigade of the hosting hotel, accompanied by the finest wines from Penfolds, Australia’s world-renowned vineyards.

The World Gourmet Club Gala Dinner
This event will start with a Champagne Reception and a selection of very special Hors d’oeuvres.
After the Cocktail, you will be served a six-course Dinner prepared by visiting Master Chefs Scott Webster, Sydney; Walter Staib, Philadelphia; Antonio Tardi, Jamaica; Kosta Ganotis, Melbourne; William Sederman, Philadelphia and Fleming Pedersen, Las Vegas and the brigade of the hosting hotel, accompanied by fine wines from around the world. After the first course, new members of the World Gourmet Club will be officially inducted by the founding partner of the Club, Dr. hc Kurt H. Fischer.
Dinner music will be performed by the Mellowtones Big band, which will also play dance music after dinner

The International Food & Beverage Hall of Fame Gala
During a Champagne Cocktail Reception, and whilst enjoying very special Hors d’oeuvres, the guests can view details of the final auction items for the benefit of The International Food & Beverage Forum’s Endowment Fund supporting scholarships for young Hospitality students. After the Cocktail, a six-course Dinner will be served, prepared by visiting Lady Master Chefs Lea Linster, Luxembourg; Liz Seaton , Hong Kong; Celina Tio, Kansas City and Jill Caldwell, Las Vegas and the brigade of the hosting hotel. Each dish will be accompanied by fine wines from world-renowned vineyards. Before the Main course, the newly-elected 2006 inductees of the International Food & Beverage Hall of Fame and the 2006 Restaurateur of the year will receive their trophies and diploma.
During Dinner, some specially selected items will be auctioned off “live”.
After the Main Course, a special performance of Duets from famous Operas and Musicals will take place. This year’s program will be selected by Professor Carlos Montane, of the Indiana School of Music and former Tenor at the Metropolitan Opera New York.
