A native of Naples, Italy, Chef Antonio Tardi began his culinary career at the Istituto Alberghiero di Stresa in Lago Maggiore, where he graduated with high honors. His experience comprises some of the finest hotels and restaurants in Europe, among them the Michelin two star Ristorante San Domenico in Imola, one star Michelin La Grand Cascade in Paris, and the luxurious Grand Hotel Quisisana in Capri, where he was Executive Chef. A very talented chef in his own right, Tardi has had the great fortune to work under famed Italian chefs Gualtiero Marchesi, who pioneered Italian nouvelle cuisine, and Alfonso Iaccarino, recently named Italy’s Chef of the Year. As an Executive Chef for Sandals & Beaches Resorts International, Chef Tardi spends most of his time shuttling from resort to resort to ensure that Sandals’ guests experience only the finest Italian cuisine.
